Try it on the site before you install
Every deck in the app started as a guide on this site. If you want to see the kind of prompts you will be playing, start with these:
- • Games for couples — the full hub of question games, card games and date-night games.
- • Card games for couples in the bedroom — the deck-of-cards games the app's spicy decks are built from.
- • 50 this-or-that questions for couples — the single most-played format in the app.
- • Sensual date night ideas — what the date-night generator pulls from.
PairPlay app — frequently asked questions
What is the PairPlay couples app?
PairPlay is a free couples app for Android where you and your partner play together on one phone or two. It bundles 1,000+ prompts across four formats: couple games (this-or-that, would-you-rather, truth or dare), spicy card decks, date-night ideas, and love quizzes that score how well you actually know each other. It is built for couples who want something to do together tonight, not another feed to scroll.
Is PairPlay free to download?
Yes. PairPlay is free on the Google Play Store with no account required to start playing. You can open a deck and be playing within about 30 seconds of install.
Is there a PairPlay app for iPhone?
Not yet. PairPlay is currently Android-only on Google Play. The iOS version is in development and the waitlist on this page is the fastest way to get it — waitlist members are emailed on launch day before the public listing goes live.
Do both partners need to install the app?
No. Most PairPlay decks are designed for pass-the-phone play, so one install is enough for a date night. Installing on both phones unlocks the long-distance modes, where you answer prompts separately and compare afterwards.
What can couples actually play in the app?
Four things. Question games for talking (this-or-that, would-you-rather, 25 intimate questions), card decks for the bedroom, date-night generators when you cannot decide what to do, and compatibility quizzes. Every idea published on this site — the sex-position guides, the bedroom games, the date-night lists — exists as a guided deck inside the app.
Is PairPlay good for long-distance couples?
Yes. Install on both phones and use the separate-answer modes: you each respond to the same prompt, then reveal together over a call. The would-you-rather and this-or-that decks work particularly well over video.
